About Charles Radclyffe
CEO, EA | AI Strategist | Serial Entrepreneur | Speaker
Charles Radclyffe is a serial entrepreneur and AI strategist who has spent his career helping organisations harness artificial intelligence to solve real business problems. He has founded and sold three technology companies and is currently the CEO of EA, an AI-driven autofill platform that automates the completion of complex corporate documents, including due diligence questionnaires, compliance reports and regulatory filings. EA was recognised as a Top 5 UK FinTech company by TechRound in 2024 and was part of the Techstars accelerator programme in 2022.
Charles has spent his career inside some of the world’s largest financial institutions, working with boards and leadership teams to develop practical AI adoption roadmaps and helping organisations move beyond the hype to identify where AI can really deliver measurable business value.
Before founding EA, he served as Head of AI at Fidelity International, where he led the firm’s adoption of artificial intelligence across its investment and operational functions. Prior to that, he was Head of Technology at Deutsche Bank Labs in London, evaluating and deploying emerging technologies across the bank’s global operations. He has also held senior technology innovation roles at the Royal Bank of Canada.
In 2020, Charles co-founded EthicsGrade, an ESG ratings agency that used AI to evaluate the maturity of corporate digital responsibility at some of the world’s most well-known brands. This experience gave him a unique perspective on what makes successful AI projects scale, and why governance and ethics must be embedded into AI strategy from the outset, rather than treated as an afterthought.
Charles holds an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge and has been a Visiting Fellow at the University of Bristol, where he supported research in quantum computing and emerging technologies. He is a Forbes contributing writer and a regular keynote speaker at industry events, where he speaks on AI strategy, the future of work, and how businesses can practically and responsibly deploy artificial intelligence. His TEDx talk explored the relationship between data, technology, and what it means to be human in an increasingly automated world.
